Losing Commissions?

    Hello, someone said they had signed up to a product through one of my affiliate links but the sale never showed up in my Clickbank back-end.

    I queried this with CB who said that using a link masking service can in-fact cause sales to go unrecorded.

    Can I ask if this is a known issue with Thirsty Affiliates?

    If it is, I will have to go through my content and replace all the links which is a lot of work.

    So, is this likely to be a ‘low percentage’ issue and CB are just covering themselves – or a legit problem?

    Thanks for the message. We haven’t had any reports like this across our thousands of users, I find it really odd that they would say that.

    We don’t actually *mask* links as they’re probably suggesting in ThirstyAffiliates. All links are actually just redirects. Doing redirects is completely normal behaviour for web browsers.

    I can’t put words in CB’s mouth of course but it sounds like they’re saying it in order to cover themselves.
