Lose widgets in 3.0 while switching themes.

  • I am on WP 3.0 and when I try to switch between themes I lose all the widgets. I did not have that problem in the older versions. I have to keep adding widgets back into the theme I switch to every time.

  • Widgets are stored on a per-theme basis and have been for some times, as far as I recall.

    Not sure why I lose them all when I switch themes around then.

    Still having the same problem while switching themes in 3.0 in my admin panel.

    Even while switching between the 3 default themes in 3.0 the widget settings are lost. They are not saved with that theme for some reason.
