Looping database logs

    Hello, thanks for the plugin. It works great – almost.

    We noticed that there seems to be a loop logging to the database the same line every ~10 seconds: <Plugin updated to version ???>

    We have several subsites within a network, containing only records of:
    Plugin updated to version 1.6.77 or Plugin updated to version 1.6.88

    This problem persists across all the websites, summing up across all 5 of them,
    there is more than 60MB of this rubbish data (> 1M rows).

    Can you fix this? Thank you.
