Loopback Connections

  • The installation of WP Super Cache for one of our clients, has been producing the error “cURL error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer” when running a test.

    The client uses Heart Internet to host their website, who have responded with…

    “I have checked this for you, and the error that you’re receiving is due to loopback connections being made to the server, this means that the plugins is trying to call a http request to the same server which is disabled on our system for security reasons.

    You would need to check with the authors of the plugin, to see if there is a way that you can disable the loopback connections being made from the plugins so this can work properly on our system.”
