• i’m suspecting it’s not entirely compatible with Yoast SEO’s “primary category” capability – because I’ve got items that go into several catagories, with one set as “primary”). i haven’t deactivated Yoast yet to test this, but I’m about to, just because I’m curious.

it was my hope that this plugin would base its category selection on my primary category, but it doesn’t appear to. it works, and it looks really nice – but it just shows every product I have in an arbitrary order so it doesn’t entirely serve its purpose.

No one every really responds to support requests in the WordPress forums (other than “hey, i saw your post and i’m a wordpress person, can i sell you my services?) so i’ll actually return here in a little while and let you know if Yoast is the issue (in which case, i’ll just have to leave it all be, lol).

nope, that wasn’t it, lol… Deactivated YOAST, tested, and the “show items in same category” option STILL doesn’t work.

so… my opinion remains the same. i’d give this plugin a FIVE if its ONE option actually worked, lol.
