• This makes it easy to create a clock on your site.

I initially had some problems making it appear on my site but the creator was really helpful and helped me sort it out in no time. My fault for entering the timezone wrong!

    Hello, @silhouettist
Enable the MX Time Zone Clocks plugin and send to me, please, your website’s url.
Also, tell me please, in which place did you placed the shortcode?
    Thank you.

    Hi @markomaksym
    Thanks for following up!

I put the clock in the sidebar under the heading “Time at our studio”.
I did this by putting your shortcode in the text widget, as the plugin didn’t seem to create a widget of it’s own.

    Shortcode I used:
    [mxmtzc_time_zone_clocks time_zone=”London” city_name=”Mays Barn” time_format=”24″ digital_clock=”true” lang=”” lang_for_date=”en” clock_type=”” show_days=”false” clock_font_size=”18″ show_seconds=”false” ]

I put it back now at: wwww.silhouettist.uk

However the site is under construction so not yet open. I plan to lift the maintenance notice over the weekend. I’ll leave the clock in place until then as it’s a minor ommission.

The site sells international virtual events, so I thought a local clock would help.

    Hello, silhouettist
    I’ve entered the https://www.silhouettist.uk/ but didn’t find the shortcode [mxmtzc_time_zone_clocks time_zone=”London” city_name=”Mays Barn” time_format=”24″ digital_clock=”true” lang=”” lang_for_date=”en” clock_type=”” show_days=”false” clock_font_size=”18″ show_seconds=”false” ]
Is it your website https://snipboard.io/LIevjC.jpg ?

If you place the shortcode to the sidebar, choose please, widget named Text (visual editor). Also, pay atterntion you’ve plased the shortcode to code’s part of this visual editor https://snipboard.io/vbIy0N.jpg
I’ve noticed the quotes in your shortcode is incorrect. Copy the code of clock one more time and make sure you’ve done that I wrote above.
    Thank you.

Thank you for looking into this.

I didn’t try to alter the code in any way. I notice that if you don’t select an option, the defaults appear as “”. (eg: lang=””).

I tried again making sure to select all the options.

I have lifted the maintenance mode now (although the official launch of the site is Monday) so you can see this version live on the site here:

You can not place time zone as London (time_zone=”London”).
Here are time zones https://timezonedb.com/time-zones . You can find that you need.

Here is the shorcode. Try again, please.

    [mxmtzc_time_zone_clocks time_zone=”Europe/London” city_name=”London” time_format=”24″ digital_clock=”true” lang=”en” lang_for_date=”” clock_type=”clock-face2.png” show_days=”false” clock_font_size=”18″ show_seconds=”true” ]

    OK, that worked! Many thanks.
Maybe you should idiot-proof your widget by providing a drop-down list of timezones, instead of allowing us to simply type a name in!
    Thank you for your help.
