• Hey guys

I think I’m really close to getting it working BUT when i view the AMP versions of my pages n the AMP plug in customiser they look great (apart from a slightly weird menu error at the bottom of the post)

BUT when i add /?amp to my posts live, in a browser on desktop or mobile they look wrong. theres a really big menu and no featured image. Im using Design 2 so i believe there should be a featured image? i also have a logo added and as i say, it all shows fine in customiser.

here’s an example of one of my posts….

    Thanks

ok sorry another issue, which meant i had to turn both AMP plug ins off (yours and the automatic one)

it was making my woocommerce normal desktop category pages go to a 404 page.

as soon as i turned both of these plug ins off, my woocommerce category pages worked fine again.

    any ideas please?

    Thanks

    Hi

Yes I had to turn them off because they were making all of my woocommerce categories to 404 pages, so I can’t leave it live like that.

Have you heard of this issue before please?

Is it because I didn’t also have woocommerce amp plug in installed?

just wanted it check if anyone else is having this error with Woocommerce categories please?

as soon as i activate the two AMP plug ins needed all of my woocommerce categories go to 404 pages.

as soon as i disable them both, all my categories work fine.

    any ideas please?

ok so i also installed Amp for Woocommerce. And my woocommerce category pages seem to be ok now with the other two amp plugs ins activated.

BUT my amp pages still do not look correct. Can you please check them and let me know what you think is wrong.

an example url is in my first post above.

Also on a different note, the woocommerce plug in does not seem to be doing anything. if i test a product page by adding /?amp its just looks exactly the same as my standard product page.

    thanks

    Hi @mattw1000,

We are so sorry for getting back to you so lately.

The reason why your amp pages are not looking good is because of some plugin which is adding “defer” in amp script. See the screenshot for your reference. https://take.ms/2u8UH

Can you tell us which optimiser plugin you are using?

If you are confused about it, list all the activated plugins of yours. We will find it for you.

    Thank you for patience.

    Regards,

    Team AMP
