Looking to Have 2 Separate Search Forms – One Used for a Certain Post Type Only

Hi,
I am using an RSS plugin on a certain page of my website to retrieve many items. I want the ability for people to search them (without any other site content showing up on the search results).

The above in itself isnt a problem, because the plugin uses a certain post type. So i guess i can modify my website’s core search functionality to ONLY find that post type. This way, no other unwanted content shows up when people perform a search (only RSS results will be shown).

However, if i do that, then my whole website’s Search functionality will be restricted to only finding that post type. Thats my problem.

So how can i have 2 separate search forms running? The WP default search on the main site, plus a separate search form showing within the page that displays my RSS items? (and displaying only rss results).

P.S. Im trying to avoid the installation of additional plugins right now, since my site already has a ton of them.
