• Looking to drop DNN for a ton of reasons but would like to replicate the design, functionality and responsiveness.

Is there a template that anyone is familiar with that can give me a decent head start that kinda/sorta looks like the link below?

    thanks

  • There are so many themes available that you’re probably not going to get a straight-up answer. But you easily search for themes by using the feature filter:

Also, you can easily change the appearance of any theme by using a child theme.

thanks! I was hoping I’d luck out and get a “oh, silly sir… THAT theme is obviously ______” ?? – but anything is preferable to my current CMS system!

It might actually be good if your new site doesn’t look exactly like your old site, since changing CMS’s inevitably means some things are going to be different. A different appearance at least lets your visitors know that things are different on the back end as well.

Since you are getting started with WordPress, I would recommend that you study up on child themes first. Making all your site customisations in a child theme saves you a lot of headaches down the road.
