Looking for tips monitoring a multi user WP 3.0.1 website?

  • Hi all,

    I am testing with WP 3.0.1 with multi users enabled. I am now looking for some tips, must have plugins, best practices for MU enabled WP website.

    For example:
    – A theme which has a summary feature of latest blog posts for the homepage. (planning to develop my own theme but could use some inspiration)
    – A theme with MU in mind, like to see the difference
    – a certain amount of general categories and say X own categories
    – best way to hide some wp-admin “stuff”
    – best bbpress integration
    – facebook / twitter integration per user
    – edit the default website settings when a new user register, for example the links

    Any other tips, suggestions are most welcome

    how do you enable default plugins for all user without the
    Enable administration menus > plugins checked.

    For example, i want aksimet to be enabled with the superadmin aksimet key for all users and i don’t want an user to be able to uninstall the plugin.
