looking for theme with front page that displays just categories with pictures

  • Hi guys,
    hope someone can help me here. I am looking for a theme that will enable me to make a home page with a tile structre. Only these tiles are not supposed to be pages or posts, but categories. Each tile a picture that stands for 1 category, and when you click it, you go to the category page. Sounds simple to me but I can’t find a theme that lets me do that (either with or without a widget). Any ideas would be appreciated!
