Looking for the first letter plugin

  • I don’t remember it’s name, my memory may as well be sold to a goldfish for all it’s worth.

    It converts the first letter of all posts into a large image? Anyone know what it’s called?

    I had the same requirement for a drop cap on the first letter of each post, but didn’t want to use images or introduce extra markup into the page source. So I came up with a javascript and CSS method of doing this.

    Its very simple to implement and adds nothing to markup of the page. I’ve just written up how I achieved this on my site.

    I’m looking to achieve an effect similar to that found on https://www.cameronmoll.com with this plug-in. How would I go about modifying it to change the first letter of the headline to a drop cap, rather than the post itself? I’m sure it’s a simple solution, but my knowledge of both PHP and WP is rather minimal. ??

    hi, has anyone tried silver lizards plugin and implemented it successfully, I have not been able to get it to work, has anyone else had better luck
