    Hi everyone!

I’m currently setting up a website for a local juice bar, and they are wanting a way for people to order menu items through the website. There is no need for payment, just a basic system that lets you select from the menu and submit it. Payment will be handled at the actual juice bar during pickup.

I’ve found a few plugins that might work, what do other people recommend for this?

  • I use WooCommerce a fair bit so I’m a little biased towards that, there might be something simpler that does what you want, but personally I would try WooCommerce combined with something like WooCommerce Opening Hours to ensure that orders can only be placed when the store is actually open.

You can set the payment method to Cash On Delivery (perhaps renaming it to “Pay on Pickup” or something else appropriate to these circumstances), removing the need to pay online.

I’m guessing you might also want to simplify the checkout screens too, so you don’t need to collect as many details from users (e.g. full addresses)? WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor could help you there.

Great info, thanks! I’ll check WooCommerce out.

Just as a final follow up. I ended up going with the WPPizza plugin. You can set it to pickup only not process payments online, plus it works using email.

    Marking topic as resolved.
