Looking for specific wp theme functionality

  • Hi,

    Anybody knows a wp theme like Marqee from PhotoShelter? (see URL)

    I’ve looked everywhere but all i can find for portfolio/photography themes is always the same layout with the same portfolio pages. I would like a modern variant on this one, full screen with projects that are listed on the front page and when you hover over the you get a nice full screen photo.

    Or maybe a solution to create a page where projects are displayed in a nice way and when you hover over them the whole background picture of that page changes in the one of that project?

    Anyone?

    I would just add that IMO most themes that are available in the Themeforest repository are beasts that suck up performance and time.

    Oh my goodness! I am absolutely shocked to hear that! I’ve been using Themeforest for some time, and I had no idea about the potential performance and security issues. The fact that there might be thousands of infected sites due to plugins from Themeforest is deeply concerning. I never imagined that such a popular repository could have such risks.

    Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I’ll definitely be more cautious and consider other options in the future. Security and performance are essential, and I can’t take any chances with my website or those I develop for others. Wow, this is truly eye-opening!
