Looking for someone willing to help with WP

  • My name is Faith, and im looking for someone willing to help with WP (obviously) I am new to wp, managed to install it and added a downloadable layout nothing special. Was wondering if someone could help me with adding features and stuff I want (gallery, permanent links etc) to it since I am totally lost.

    Its not going to be complicated just basic stuff, I need to have it soon enough, for I am going away on a trip and I would like to have something people can look at to see what I have been up to. It would be great if someone could help me out or exactly tell me how to do ..some certain stuff, would save a lot of time. So please contact me ..would be very appreciated =) .

  • Why you do not start posting some of the questions you have, i’m sure all peoplehere will be happy to give you advices, solutions or links to pages that explain how to solve the problem.

    Someone may well be in touch, but in the meantime, if you post something like “How can I get flickr photos displayed on my blog” someone will help. The person who gets on touch may not have all the knowledge, but between us here, we have ??

    Okay well you asked for it huh, this is probably going to sound real dumb but ive been looking around at other peoples wordpress pages, and I notice that they have more pages with different content that load instead of the actual blog content. I dont think this is done by catagories or is it? Anyway, I’d like to add more pages to it with other information..how would I do that?

    I just asked for someone to contact me because its probably going to be a lot of explaining, didnt want to bother everyone with stupid questions lol

    thanks ! I know understand how to make seperate pages. But another question, on certain pages I saw that they had a top menu under their header, how can I do that?

    Could u also tell me how to set up my own gallery, which one do you recomend? I’d like the gallery to be displayed in the layout just like the static pages.

    Galleries……a whole topic of it’s own..

    I’d do a search for gallery and be prepared to read for a while I’m afraid. Right now I can’t recall a simple drop-in gallery for WP.

    If you use flickr you might want to take a look at https://www.worrad.com/archives/2005/01/08/flickr-gallery-07/ It can be cut into your normal pages.
