Hi ya’ll. I’m looking for a way to add additional downloadable files to my products. But I want them to cost extra. Meaning my customers only get access to the download if they choose to pay for the add on. I’m using woocommerce. I’ve found plugins that add an upload field, but nothing for download fields. Does anyone know of a plugin that or code that adds this? Thanks.

@jennielyne I’d recommend looking into a bundle extension, rather than a “Product Add-On” plugin. I think the extension Product Bundles would work great for your setup.

You’d have to configure each download as its own downloadable product, and then you can create a “bundle product” that offers the option to add these downloadable items. Since these will be products of their own, they will behave like any other downloadable product in WooCommerce.

Thank you. It does work. However, I have 200 products and counting. Using this or the composite plugin means I will have to make 4 products to post 1. Then hide 3 from the catelog. I will end up with over 800 products and use so much webspace. I found a code online for addons without a plugin. Does anyone know how to tweak it for downloads?
