Looking for plugin: link opens WP page body content in popup window

I’ve spent awhile this evening trying to locate a plugin. Unfortunately the search terms I’m using aren’t finding anything appropriate. Maybe someone here has come across a similar plugin I’ve been looking for or could recommend something that would work.

One of our WP sites is going to use pages to catalog and categorize a lot of data on individual items. There are also a few different types of indexes we will be creating to group these items, and these will also be stored in WP pages.

On these group or index pages, we will have links pointing to the pages of the individual items. For these links, I would like to have them open up the page title and body content in a popup window, rather than navigate to the actual page itself. I would prefer a jQuery modal window to overlay the existing page, but a separate browser window with minimal controls (scroll bars and “close” button) would also work.
