looking for more space in the length of the short-url

  • I use Shorties a couple of years, but the ‘fake directory name’ between website-address and shorty-name is a bit too long : 8 characters, ‘go’ is better ? more space for the shorty-name.

    But : if I change this in options, at some moment today, I’m affraid I loose the working of 8 x 15 = 120 old weblinks.

    1. some solution ?
    2. is it possible to enlarge the characters for the short-url ?
