Looking for minimalist image slider implementation

    Looking for minimalist theme and image slider implementations that look something like:

    I have installed the same WP skeleton theme used by this site, but the royal slider plug they use is not longer supported. I tried several slideshow plugins for my main page and so far the Tribulent Slideshow gallery comes the closest, but

    1) does not animate very smoothly

    2) I not see how to resize my images so they span the page. In fact, don’t see anything in the slideshow or config options about image sizes.

    3) Would also like a more minimal navigation arrow

    Thanks! (Just getting back into WordPress – I implemented a couple WordPress sites over 5 years ago with minimal customization, and I do know how to hack code so hoping to get this working soon.)

    OK, I am using the Royal Slider plugin and it works very well. However, I need to add custom HTML, CSS and javascript code to the plugin so it spans the entire main page.

    I have suggestions for the code from the plugin’s author but not sure where or how to add the code.

    I want to learn how to do this so I would want you to walk me through what you are doing. We could probably do this on the phone and shouldn’t take much time.
