Looking for input: filters and actions

    Hi,
    If people want to give some input on this I would be glad.
    I can imagine that developers want to use an API. What that API could be is a set of filters or actions.

    I can imagine that there would be a filter that has the input/output for each entry as it is listed on the frontend. The same for the complete output of the guestbook shortcode.
    Also, a filter for saving each entry in the db, where the instance of $entry is the input/output for the filter.

    Is this something that developers are looking for? Are there other things they are looking for in an API?

    Mind you, this is not about what should be visible on the guestbook. There will come a setting in a future release for reading and for the widget, just like the simple form builder that is in now.
    This is really about an API, with filters and maybe actions.

    Any feedback?

    Just made this post sticky.
    This plugin could really use some polish regarding hooks, based on real world usage and real world requests.
    I can imagine that the frontend/posthandling.php would need some filters.

    Feedback is appreciated.
