Looking for help using sources/references

Hi all.

I would like to use a personal WP site to take notes on courses I take. I’m looking for the easiest way to cite sources in a way that resembles Wikipedia, possibly with a static entry for the source cited.

In other words, I would like to be able to write something, then add at the end of the paragraph something like ”source:whatever” which would create a link to a static ‘whatever’ page.

I’ve tried several plugins which “Wikify” WordPress but so far I haven’t found a satisfactory solution.

P.S. I don’t need versioning, multi-user editing or anything like that.
