Looking for good Search Plugin

  • Hi all,

    I’ve got a local install of WordPress on an old MacBook Pro that we use for archiving stories at a small newspaper. I’ve got 37,000+ posts in there now, and am wondering if that’s what making the built-in search capabilities so slow. If so, anyone know of a good (free) plugin that can help with such a large database in regards to searching?
