looking for good calendar plugin

I’m looking for a good calendar plugin that allows me to add detailed events to dates.

Currently I just have a category called events. The problem is, the events aren’t arranged in chronological order. At the very least, I’d like to figure out how to order the posts chronologically by event date rather than chronologically by the date the event is posted.

Any recommendations on good calendars? (my site is stc-suncoast.org)
