Looking for Featured Photo plugin

Does anyone know of a plugin that permits a widgetized Featured Image to be placed just below the Categories widget on the Posts-Edit page? The Woo Themes has this functionality but don’t want to buy an entire theme framework just to get a featured image.

I’ve seen two featured image plugins in the plugin library but both place the image in a column in the lists of Posts (Edit-posts). The Featured Image that is used in Woo Themes Coda displays the image in the sidebar when in edit-posts. That image is also piced up by a slider when tagged, which is what I’m looking to do. It is regarded as the primary post image, regardless of whether there are images embedded in the post text or not.
