Looking For Extra Post Fields Plugin

Hopefully I posted in the right place – I am looking for a plugin that will add extra custom fields when posting a topic. For example, I would like to have other fields under the “Title” field, however they would pretty much work the same way, except they would get posted to the top of the posts rather than the title. I will illustrate:

Title ____________
Custom Field _____________
Custom Field 2 _____________

Posting Content

I was wondering if there was anything like this out there? I’ve also tried using the post template plugin (which is a similar idea); however, it doesn’t automatically apply templates when starting a new post. Thanks.
