    Hey all,
Just to give you an idea, this is what I am looking for:
a plug-in that consists op different step, showing the next step depending on the choice in the previous step.
Main idea: I have a kind of product (bars or tablets), then chose the packaging, and then fill it with products, adding personalising picture and text.

    So here it goes:

step 1: chose the content (chocolate bars, tablets and bulk)
    – only this step is visible
    – 3 different contents with different maximum amount of products

    step 2: chose your box
    – only visible when chosen your content
    – content depends on chosen box in step 1
    – 12 different boxes

    step 3: chose the products
    – only visible when chosen your box
    – products depend on chosen box in step 2
    – each product can be selected multiple times
    – multiple products can be selected
    – there is a total product maximum amount that is defined in step 2 (eg: one box can contain 20 bars, another box can contain 50 tablets – message pops up when reached the maximum total amount)

    step 4: personalise
    – only visible when the above is completed
    – add picture (in specific size sent to us)
    – add sentence, chose font and color

Does anyone know a plug-in for this, please?
    Thanks.

  • Hello!

We recommend checking out Gravity Forms Product Add-ons or Composite Products. They have conditional logic and can display options based on a customer’s previous choice.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for the links, Maykato. Unfortunately the live demo of Gravity Forms is an insecure link, so didn’t check it. And of Composite Products I don’t see any live demo. Would be nice to see it working.

    Hi again,

Thank you for pointing that out.
For Gravity forms, while we are getting correct link to the live demo from the developer, you can also take advantage of the 30-day refund policy. You can test out the plugin with your requirements and make sure it works for you. If it doesn’t work for you, you can return it for a full refund.

For Composite Products, you can check out the Use Case: Create Configurable Products

    Thanks, Maykato.
Regarding the Composite Products: is it possible to just have the first step with price, and all the other steps are just filling up that first choice without added price?

Also I would like to have the following personalisation of the above:
    – only visible when the above is completed
    – add picture (in specific size sent to us)
    – add sentence, chose font and color

Sorry, forgot to add this, regarding the Composite Products: is it also possible to have a step where you can chose quantities? After chosing step 1, then the next step shows up, where I can select products and select their amount?

    Hello again,

Regarding the Composite Products: is it possible to just have the first step with price, and all the other steps are just filling up that first choice without added price?

Thank you for the detail. Composite Products is off the list as it doesn’t have the personalization feature mentioned above. But Gravity Forms should be able to cover all the requirements. Here is the documentation page that shows the available features. To see how it works exactly, we strongly recommend taking advantage of the 30-day refund policy.

Feel free to also look for a third-party plugin that works better for your store ?? If any of the plugins work exactly the way you like, the next step would be reaching out to a we developer and customize your store for you. We also have customization experts listed here.

    Thanks, Maykato.
Just checked Gravity Forms, but it cannot achieve what I need: no image upload and no personalisation. So I guess that one is off.

Can Composite products achieve all the requirements without the personalisation?
    Is it possible to:
    – just have the first step with price, and all the other steps are without added price
    – have a step where you can chose quantities: after chosing step 1, then the next step shows up, where I can select products and select their amount
    – have a step that shows options with pictures next to it and quantity selection

Also, is it possible to have a step that shows products with a picture next to it and their quantity selection, whilst also more than one product can be chosen?
So f.ex. 3x product A and 5 x product B is chosen in the same step.

    So in this example: https://somewherewarm.net/cp-c/product/full-frame-dslr-kit

    If
    – step 2 and 3 have no added prices
    – step 3 can have multiple chosen elements
    – step 3 is not linked to existing products, but can be written from scratch uploading pictures

Can you confirm the possibility of the above, please?
Then I think I got it.
All I need is to add personalisation with another plug-in.
