Looking for another widget

I am looking to add a widget to the bottom of the website.

The theme only offers a Primary Sidebar and would like one just above the footer area. Is this something I can do in the functions.php and sidebar.php files? Any help would be appreciated.

I’m using Omega with child theme Lifestyle. At the moment the site is not live.
