• Hi,

Im looking for a plugin preferably for woocommerce, which will allow me to give some users a Credit limit for making purchases at checkout. If the user has reached their credit limit, they are unable to checkout via credit payment method and must pay at checkout. Alternative if they pay for their unpaid orders this will release their credit.

This needs to be dynamic as their will be can be normal customers(not registered) and (registared) that will not have this credit option available to them. Only verified accounts will be allowed a credit limit.

I think this is a fairly standard concept which a lot of wholesale stores will use but I haven’t found a plugin for this. My research has lead me to various plugins but none that give me what Im looking for. I think it will be a combination of a few to get to the desired outcome.

Not looking for a top-up type method which seams to keep cropping up.

Anyone had an experience with this, or have any suggestions?

  • This is the best “Account credit” plugin I know of.

    https://woocommerce.com/products/store-credit/

If that is not the feature set you are looking for you may want to consider looking for someone to program something custom for you.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help, this plugin could be uses as a potential work around. But I think your right, I might need to make my own plugin. I was trying to save myself some time, I’m really surprised this isn’t already a thing.

I’ve came up with one method already by modding the users and giving them a credit limit (£X) and not allowing them to checkout if they have ‘unpaid orders’ that total over £X.
