• Hello Everybody,

I am looking for advices to move my abandoned Drupal site into WordPress. The site is https://thetwins.info. It is still running with Drupal 6.2 as I can not easily upgrade it to Drupal 7.x, especially its photo gallery module. I don’t want to spend more time on it.

I saw that WordPress can use SQLite database. And I started to install it 5 days ago. My test site, https://myweblog.info, is now running on WordPress 3.3 with SQlite3 database. But it only accepts request from my home IP address until I found the solution of the issue that I described here.

I have been reading and searching for plugins but I still can not figure out how to do the following in WordPress:

    1. Set all URLs to end with “.html” as on https://thetwins.info, so there should be no links on any pages containing “.php”.

    2. Setup photo gallery with synchronised “Gallery Navigation”.

    3. Set to have static file copy of all pages, minify CSS & JS and compress them.

Could anybody give me advices on that, with as little hacking as possible?

I am aware that I will probably need to write my own plugins, as I am doing it right now to solve point 3 which I can not seem to avoid.

    Kind regards,

    Anto

So? Is it impossible to do those points without creating my own plugin? If so, then might it be better of if I would use Drupal? I hope I am wrong.
