Looking for a way to link home page images directly to galleries

  • Hello, so what i’m looking for is a way to link my home page images directly to different galleries without going through pages/posts.

    So it would be an home page with some images, you click on them and you go directly to their respective galleries. Is there a way to do it, or you’re a forced to go through posts first and get to the gallery from there?

    I know knothing about PHP, so what i’m looking for it’s another way to do it, a specific theme, plugins or some kind of customization that can be explained here

    I think simple solution is just create page – set it as home page and just put to content images with link to galleries.

    How do i link a single image to a multi-images gallery?

    There are some gallery plugins, anyway you can do it with default wordpress gallery.
    Create pages for every gallery and create add gallery there … for example cars, cats …
    Then just create page for example “images” you will set it as home page.
    Then add media – images … each image will be main image for each gallery what you created previously.
    Then Edit every main image on page “images” and in display setting set up Link to – custom url and point it to each gallery page … example.com/cars … then /cats and so on.

    So shorter and more simple – each gallery will have own page and each main picture will link to that page.
