• Hey everyone,

I’m currently devving a site to act as a code repository for various assets. Each post is setup to be an asset, and searchable, filterable, etc. Once clicked, the post details page opens to view documentation and applicable downloads.

Senior management would like the post details pages to be gated by an access form. Preferably, I’d like to use a Hubspot form to gate entry, so that we can collect user-data.

Essentially, the UX would be: user searches posts, clicks on search item of choice, and is then prompted to enter their email address PRIOR to accessing the page.

Ideally, I’d like an AJAX solution, where the post actually loads, but the page is overlayed by the hubspot form, form onsubmit would then remove the overlay.

I’m just picking brains, here. Wondering if anyone has had experience with gating post content, or has a plug-in suggestion for this functionality.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Curious why they don’t require user account creation.
If it is just a form without any validation, you may end up with a lot of unusable data.
