Looking For a Video Playlist Plugin Which Doesn’t Suck

    My boss is looking for a (presumably premium) plugin that will leverage the native capabilities of the WordPress Media Library – i.e., use the information already populated on the Attachment Page of any video file, such as title, caption, etc. so that there’s no duplicate effort – and additionally:

    1) adds a multiple playlist feature which displays video titles and other information,
    2) adds a social sharing feature which includes embedding (which means deeplinking),
    3) and, ideally, which automatically pulls a poster image from the video, to save us from having to manually capture and upload one (HUGE time-sink!). Barring this, it would be really nice if it just pulled from the Attachment Page’s Featured Image.

    I’ve spent dozens of hours on this project already and none of the plugins we’ve found fit the bill. Initially we started with FWDesign’s Ultimate Video Player, but we were having to copy and paste the information from the Media Library into the appropriate fields on that plugin, as well as other issues we were having with the plugin that made it an untenable option.

    We can put a man on the moon but we can’t come up with a simple video player plugin which does these things? ?? Help, please!
