• Hi, I have been looking for a plugin but cannot find something useful so I was hoping to get some help/recommendations on this forum!

I would like to sell a “tourist card” that allows travellers to get discounts in selected businesses in a travel destination. So, for example, the buy the card on my website for X dollars and receive an email/PDF with a QR code and/or bar code that can be scanned by all participating businesses.

I need a system that creates these cards with QR code and also has a back-end where I can see all the cards that have been scanned and by which business. This back-end should also allow each business owner to check whether the card is valid, but without seeing if it has been scanned by other businesses.

I tried testing TICKERA for this: it allows me to sell/create cards and also individual APIs for each participating business to scan/check the codes BUT unfortunately the customers’ data are available to everyone, and not only to me.

Do any of you have any plugin to recommend? I was planning to use WooCommerce to sell the card, but I am open to other e-commerce solutions too.

    Thank you!

Try asking at that plugin’s dedicated support. They MAY have an easy, supported solution.

Thanks @t-p , I did get in touch with them, their plugin is designed for events and so they told me that any APIs associated with the same event will display the list of attendees and their personal data to anyone who has access to the APIs of that event. In my case though, I am dealing not with an event but with a “card”, I was hoping that I could use a ticketing system but seems like it cannot work for my purpose

You may have to design a custom plugin to meet your specific requirements.
