  • We have the exact same problem. I would like to have a few more options for a WYSIWYG widget as well. So far I’m just using Rich Widget because the buggy-ness of Rich Text Widget is too bothersome.

    Sorry I can’t be of much help… I hope someone else will have other ideas.

    This is the biggest hole in WordPress’s development, in my opinion. It’s kind of unbelievable that there isn’t a readily-available way to use the WP visual editor in a widget.

    Here’s hoping someone works it out! ??

    I would also like to know if someone has a solution to this problem.

    The way things are, a client would need to know HTML in order to add bulleted lists or links to a widget in the sidebar.
