News link plugin

    I’m looking for a plugin that displays links to published newspaper articles directly with the corresponding picture. In SharePoint this works fine with the Web Part News. I only need to enter the URL under “news link” and all relevant information including the picture of the article will be displayed and I just have to click on “post”. Is there a plugin for WordPress that does this kind of fast publishing?

    Hi,

    thank you very much. I tried out this plugin but I still have to add too many things (image, text etc.). In SharePoint this is much easier to handle. I only have to paste the URL and everything else is done by the system. It takes the image from the news article, shows the abstract etc.

    Hello @tanja29 I’ve been looking for that, and your initial description sounds amazing with SharePoint. The visual link preview is good for links inside a post, but not to make a page only to add links (news).
    The answer of @tylerthedude seems good to make a page and just add link and category (the the page update with the thumbnails, title and a little text) with a grid. But is too expensive.
    Is any other alternative there free or cheaper?
