Video plugin

  • I’m not really sure what to call this ?? but I’m looking for a plugin that would allow someone to log in to a live web page (on the frontend, not backend/admin) and add information directly on that page, maybe via a form? Editable Frontend Pages By Permission? I don’t know.

    Specifically, this is for a biography website where several people from across the country will be able to log in and answer some questions about the Biography of the person on that page. So, all the questions would need to be formatted by me, and every time someone answers the question or adds a description, the text they write stays with the question on that page and no one else can delete it or edit it, but they could add their own answers. It’s kind of like multiple “comment” forms on a single page. Or a forum maybe? Doesn’t seem right.

    It would also be nice to be able to upload photo and video or other media types. They all need to be formatted the same so keeping the questions and media in order would be important.

    I Might be asking a lot, or maybe it’s really simple, but I have no idea what to search for in the plugin repository. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    May be what you need is Ninja Forms:

    You can set up a page with a form with some questions. If I recall correctly, Ninja Forms let users upload files

    Great ideas. Not exactly what I’m looking for ??

    This is why it’s so hard. And I’m probably not explaining it well. I’m not sure anything like this exists ?? Maybe it is just a separate WP install that users log into and update manually, though that is not ideal either since I don’t want the questions to change.

    A better explanation: For example, say there are 20 bios I need to create on my site. Each bio would have its own page. One page might look something like this on the frontend:

    (I establish the person’s name in the title)
    ie. Joe Montana’s Biography

    (I establish the questions that can’t be edited)
    Question #1 – When did this person live:
    (there is a comment box for just this question)

    Question #2 – When and where was this person born?
    (again there is a comment box for just this question)

    Question #3 – How many children did they have, if any?
    (etc, etc)

    I just need frontend page info to be updated live on each page by a logged in user. I’m not wanting to create new posts or send any kind of email forms, though that may be part of it. Mostly just want live page updates (kind of like comments, but multiple per page). Maybe that explanation helps better. Sorry if I’m not clear.
