Looking for a new Ad plug-in program

  • Any suggestions on a good ad plug-in that rotates or random ad’s on top that also recored views and clicks?

    The one I am using for TNB site creates massive database file and usually can’t open the results because its so large. Plus the numbers of impressions (views) is crazy high. -in trillions. So I know its not recording properly.
    Or its counting same ad over and over when people walk away from the computer for hours.

    Have you reached out to the Random Banner Pro developer about the issues you’re encountering? You’re also running an older version of the plugin, and for all we know, your issue may have been fixed already in newer versions.

    As for your specific request, nearly any ad manager plugin can rotate ads and count clicks. You just have to spend a little time to drill down and make a personal choice:

    I’m personally not a fan of native WordPress adverting/analytics/ plugins and plugins that keep extensive logs and stats (eg firewalls and download counters), as they tend to bloat and/or trash the database, leading to performance issues. I prefer to offload these to external providers. For advertising, I use Google’s free DoubleClick for Publishers (now Google Ad Manager) to serve ads across all my websites.
