Looking for a Maps Plugin (not google maps)

    Hello everyone! I’m new in the foruns, but I’ve been using wordpress for some time now.

    I am looking for a Maps Plugin. I want to create a map of the US divided by states and a world map.
    In the map of the US i want to color some of the states and make them clicable, and on the world map I want to color some countries, and make them clicable also. If possible, with a tooltip.

    I’ve searched the plugins repository and all I found was google maps solutions, and it’s not really what I wanted. I also found some flash solutions with the visuals I am searching for, but I would prefer a non-flash version, so it works on more devices.

    Do you know of any plugin or alternative solution to achieve this?

    im pretty new in here too but i made a fast online research and i found some examples that you can use on your wordpress themes.

    You can search in here at wordpress plugins:
    didnt try any but they′re free you can try and see if it is what your looking for.

    Payable plugin
    If not i really can advise one premium plugin. This one i′d bought and use in multiple wordpress themes…

    Interactive World Maps works like a champ.

    As you can see if you use wordpress you′ve plenty of options around.

    I didn’t consider premium plugins before, but that turned out to work perfectly for what I needed. I created an interactive map of the US very fast and easy. And also the world map works perfectly!

    all the others in the wordpress plugins repository are essentially google maps plugins, so the Interactive World Maps plugin was better.
