Looking for a good free event manager plugin

Hello all,

I’m looking for a nice event manager to use for a gaming community that I run. I’ve tried around 20 different ones and none of them seem to be what I’m looking for (although most are impressive for what they do). Basically the plugin would just allow me to create an event, and then allow a registered use to click and register for the event. The plugin would also show a list of those who have registered underneath the event. The closest I came to finding what I was looking for was a plugin called “Events Manager” which is no longer being supported. Anything similar to this that someone could direct me to?
