• Hi all,

I am working on an intranet for my company and I have reached a point where I can’t seem to find the right calendar plug-in.

A while back, I believe it was during version 3.1 or 3.7 there was a calendar plug-in that allowed users to create events right from the front end. Unfortunately shortly after having most of the site finished, sparing details, something happened and the whole site was gone and needed to be entirely reinstalled on the server.

The plug-in is needed for employees to see on the front end who is out of office for X amount of days.

All I remember about the plug-in was that it showed a full month view with text going throughout the days when someone made an out of office event. The plug-in’s back-end was managed by a 3rd party website and was able to be linked as a widget to sidebars.

We have AD integration with our intranet. If there are any other plug-ins that can meet my needs while preferably having permissions settings for specific user accounts that would be phenomenal. (We only want to allow our front desk and HR employees be able to edit the out of office “events”)

If there is something or you know of the specific plug-in im looking for, make sure it does, in fact show the full month in the widget view and “event” text can be seen without actually clicking on the day. I’m only being picky because the one I found in the past was perfect for the needs.

    Thank you!
