  • That database host looks weird but you might consider asking GoDaddy support.

Also look at wpdb for accessing the database. And Integrating_WordPress_with_Your_Website.

You won’t get any effective help from GoDaddy. GoDaddy is great registrar but a poor host. I would consider moving to a new host.

What happens for you when you go to the site? When i go to countryexposure.com (assuming that’s the domain you are inquiring about) I get a forbidden message. Now a lot of people install WordPress to a WordPress directory. Which it appears is the case for countryexposure.com, for when you go to countryexposure.com/wordpress I get a message saying : “There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. Need more help? We got it. You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.” This indicated that there is not a database issue, but just the fact that you have no wp-config.php file to connect to the database with. I believe once you create and set up this file your issue will be resolved.

I decided to delete the site and DB and start over. I’m trying to learn this product (WP). I have 3 WP blogs (not really for the public of course but they are up)just to study. Thanks for input.
