    Hi,

I tried BLC 2.0 version, and what I didn’t like was that there was no function to choose what exactly you want to scan, as was an option in the old version where you could choose what to scan ‘Look for links in’.

Will there be such a function in the new version later?

    Regards

    Hi @stickerqueen

I hope you are doing well.

You are correct, this is one of the benefits of this new version, you don’t need to choose anymore where will look the link for, as long as the link is on the front end it will be scanned.

You probably misunderstood me, I’m asking if there will be such a function Look for links in in new version? Because at the moment I’m using the old version because it does exactly what I need ‘Look for links in’.

    Hi @stickerqueen

I am afraid we don’t have plans for that,

Both engines are different, in the V1 we look at the database to fund the links, so we can identify for example links from Advanced Custom Fields o Regular WordPress post types.

On this new version, the scan is done on the front end.

There are plans to implement an exclusion box and global exclusion option to be easily applied across all sites, at this point we don’t have any design ready for this but I shared this ticket with our team so we can maybe extend that to work similarly to V1.
