Created a form with 36+ questions and noticed that modifying the form via drag and drop doesn’t work.

I as I tried to pinpoint the issue i imagine it has something to do with the capacity of the screen.
When opened the form on 1080p monitor the form is not modifiable (cannot change order with drag and drop feature or it is really difficult to do – couldn’t do it) I solved it by deleting questions and adding them back in new order (tedious)

When opened the form on 4k monitor the form is easy to modify with drag and drop (i assume it has enough vertical space to display all form questions)

Using computer with windows 10 and latest Chrome web browser.

Maybe adding “move up/down” arrow could help?

    Hi @shoofar

    I hope you’re well today!

I just checked it on my own test site: I created a form with 40 fields and tried to re-organize it using drag & drop.

I first tried on a laptop screen (not 4k, just 2160×1440 px) and then on external screen (with even smaller resolution). In both cases I was able to move the fields.

The issue that I can confirm from my tests is that it is, indeed, a bit difficult to eg drag the field all the way down or up – like move it from the end of the form to the top or the other way around. Basically, moving “past the screen boundaries” – this sometimes needs to be done in a few “smaller steps”. But it still worked fine for me.

I understand that this isn’t what you experienced and you couldn’t move those fields at all, right?

Would you mind sharing some short video showing how it behaves for you? This could help us replicate and/or diagnose the issue.

As for adding “move up/down” arrow, I think this is a simple but super-useful idea and I’m honestly not sure why we didn’t think of it yet ?? I’ve already forwarded your suggestion to our Forminator Team to look into. I’m not able to give any ETA at this point but I think it’s something that should be fairly easy to implement and I hope we’ll get it added with one of future releases.

    Best regards
    Adam
