Long wait time on checkout before /order-received/ (thankyou) page shows up

Hi,

Let me start by saying, thank you for creating Woocommerce, it’s just wonderful.

I have been using it a lot on my websites and it has worked flawless so far until very recently.

On one of my sites (Healthiply) I am facing a problem after pressing the “Place Order” button on the checkout page. The loader keeps spinning for over 30-40 seconds and over a minute sometimes before the thankyou page /order-received/ comes up.

I have gone through some of the posts regarding an endless spinner on checkout, but nothings seems to be problematic in console. In my case, the spinner does stop but after a long wait time. The load time of admin-ajax.php and 301 redirect is also not the problem.
