Long Wait Time Communicating with Server with Tracks?

    Hi,

    I am curious if anyone else has experienced long wait times with this theme. I am testing the speed of my website and want to determine if this is the theme or my host.

    When I reverted back to twentyfifteen them the site came up fast. And I’ve tried disabling all plugins and even with everything disabled pingdom shows 40-50 second “wait” time in communicating with the server. Even calling up pages like /admin /wp-login.php etc.

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    When I first visited, the site did not load for about 40 seconds as you described. It then loaded quickly once the actual loading process began. I refreshed the page and the site reloaded quickly.

    All 22 files were loaded without issue and the whole process was finished in about 0.7s.

    The delay before loading is happening before Tracks, any plugins, or even WordPress begin loading. This means the issue is definitely coming from your hosting. I’m not exactly sure why this is happening, but your webhost should be able to help fix this.

    Hi,

    Thanks for verifying this. That’s sort of what I determined as well because I saw no other topics like this on here and the site is pretty light weight after compressing images etc.
