    Hello,

I use the FTP Upload plugin to send albums and photos from Lightroom Classic to wppa-depot.
In recent weeks, when the album names exceed about 40 characters, a message from Lightroom tells me that the album cannot be created in the depot. Up to about 40 characters, the album is created and the photos correctly uploaded to the depot.

I am then obliged to create the album with the long title directly in the depot with Filezilla, and then I upload the photos with the FTP Upload plugin.

The FTP Upload plugin has not evolved in years, and there is no setting regarding the length of the titles. I changed my host, but I could create long titles on this server a few weeks ago.

Is there a setting in WPPA+ regarding the length of album titles in the depot, or is it a permission problem with the server?

    Merci!

I just dis the following test without any problem:

    – Created album wit name: New album with a very long name to test if there is a limit to fourty characters somehow in the wppa system
    – Uploaded 4 photos to it
    – exported the album
    – downloaed the album
    – deleted the album
    – uploaded the zip on the import page
    – verified with filezilla that the zip is there with the full name
    – extracted the zip
    – imported the album (.amf file)
    – imported the photos

No issues, so there is no limit to that in the wppa system

Maybe try filezilla rather than an ftp plugin?

Thank you very much for this test.
