Long Site Titles Not Responsive

I love Radcliffe as a parent theme for my own project theme https://github.com/cogdog/truwriter

Just noticed on a site using my child theme that having a long title pushes the menu bar off screen (and runs off itself) on screens less than 600px. Not sure if it affects anything else, but adding this CSS (in Customizer for sites using Radcliffe or in child theme) made long titles more responsive:
