I’m saddened to read your review. I’ve put over three years of full time development into this service — a one star is not just a slap in the face, it indicates that somehow we’ve wronged you.
The initialization can sometimes get hung if the API gets hung up delivering the web performance scans. That can happen when there are other optimization systems already at play, such as caching plugins, or reverse proxies like Cloudflare. While we do everything we can to account for every different configuration that is likely to happen, still there are scenarios where the full features of the Pegasaas are blocked by some existing system. For the majority of sites, Pegasaas will install and initialize without any intervention. That said, I’m working on a different initialization routine for version v4.0 which will resolve this type of “long install” issue, once and for all.
As far as poor results — without knowing what your site URL is, I cannot address any issues. Pegasaas historically outperforms most other plugins and optimization systems. Perhaps your site is unique in it’s configuration, in a way that I haven’t seen before. I’d love to know what the URL is so that I can work to make the plugin better.
