    Good morning,

I have used the Optimole plugin on the website and now I’m getting SEO errors. Please can you let me know if there is a way around this?

    Thanks

Here is the report text and one of the links that is flagged – there are a total of 16.

Avoid long and non-informative file names for images

There is no official limit set by search engines as to the preferred length of the image file name, but according to SEO best practices, its maximum length should be 70 characters. The on-page audit shows a warning for image file names that exceed the 70-character limit.

    Hi @kc456,

Thank you for using Optimole and sharing your experience.

What is the tool that you’re using to audit your website?
I see that the “issue” is about the filename being too long but we do not change the filename, your filename still remains Netcomm-IT-B usiness-Support-Meeting.jpg no matter if Optimole serves the URL or if it’s served directly from your website.
