    Hello There;

    We are evaluating this theme using an internal VM hosting WordPress before updating the production site. All WordPress components are the most recent (WordPress,PHP, Apache, etc.)

    As each page loads the “loading” animation and “connecting” at the bottom of the page stay in place for about 5 seconds … this seems like a very long time to me.

    Is there a way to speed up this load time?

    I have HTOP loaded on the server and nothing seems to be overly stressed.

    Is there something in particular that I can look for in the HTOP results?

    thanks in advance …

    Hi there,

    Yeah I think that’s a bit slow; I don’t think HTOP could help, you better check the “Network” tab to see what’s taking so long (right click on the page, click the “Inspect element”, maybe refresh the page too) I’d assume it’s some large image.
    Does the same page load faster with other themes?

    Please note, you can also disable the “Loading” screen too to watch the actual page as it loads, it’s through Appearance -> Customize -> Loading.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks for the reply;

    I will try disabling the “loading” animation and that may help figure what is taking so long to load as I will be able to see the elements loading.
